About Me

here’s the scoop

IMG_0359I’m 20-something years old and still figuring things out, but one thing I know for sure is that one of the world’s greatest joys is pasta. I eat so much of the stuff that my family has a running joke that my body is made up of 90% Pasta, hence the name of this blog. The fact that I once upon a time lived in Italy makes me a tough critic to please, but I’m open to trying any noodle once.

Other than Italian food – or all food, really – I also love nonfiction writing, being outdoors during the golden hour, any music involving banjos, and playing with random dogs on the street. There is no greater thrill for me than a plane ticket to another country and I firmly believe that the passport is the new diploma.

I’m currently the Marketing Content Specialist (writer/editor) of a Washington, D.C., nonprofit organization. I spend most weekends and weeknights hiking, pretending to be a photographer, reading true crime books, and exploring D.C.’s incredible food scene.

Here, you’ll find my ramblings about the daily life of a third-culture kid making her way through her first years in the real world. And probably a lot of pictures of pasta. Thanks for reading!
